Joe
Clarke
is a
wood
flooring
inspector,

by NOFMA-
certified
by NOFMA
in 2005
& IAWFP
certified.
Mr.
Clarke
performs
an
average
5-8
inspections
annually.
The most
complex
inspection
to date
involved
analysis
of two
full
shipping
containers
of
engineered
wood
flooring
involved
in a
dispute
between
the
manufacturer
and a
distributor.
The
issue
involved
cupping
and
crowning
of
boards
randomly
located
throughout
the
sealed
individual
cartons.
The data
collection
process
consumed
three
full
days for
the
inspector
and one
aid. The
cause
for the
issue
was
determined.
The
report
produced
did
expedite
an out
of court
settlement.
Occasionally,
Mr.

has
provided
expert
testimony
in
litigation.
The
inspection
area
serviced
includes
Alabama,

sufficient
information
is
available,
and if
requested,
a
recommendation
for
remedial
action
is
included
as an
addendum
to the
inspection
report.
Inspection
services
and
contractor
functions
are
never
commingled.
