Chris
Godfrey
also has

extensive
background
in
disaster
restoration;
having
performed
and
supervised
work on
everything

simple
restoration
water
damage
to
complex
dehumidification
of
commercial
buildings.
He has
been
called
upon to
manage
numerous
fire
restoration
projects
that
involved
structural
rebuilding
and
contents
restoration.
His
experience
in this
field
also
included
handling
biologically
hazardous
job
sites,
such as
raw
sewage
backups
from
main
sewer
lines,
cleanup
of
bodily
fluids
and
tissues,
and
extreme
contamination
from
molds,
mildews,
and
fungi.
The
extensive
knowledge
and
technical
skills
derived
from
years of
restoration
work are
an
integral
part of
each
inspection.
He is a
member
of an
elite
group of
certified
restorers,
which
number
only 450
individuals
worldwide.
In
December,
2003,
NOFMA –
The Wood
Flooring
Manufacturers
Association
recognized
Mr.
Godfrey,
along
with two
other
individuals,
as the
first
NOFMA
Certified
Wood
Inspectors
in the
country.
The
NOFMA-CWFI
program
required
a
combination
of
educational
training,
practical
experience,
and both
site
review
and
report
review
in order
to earn
credentials.

Mr.
Godfrey
during
the
on-site
training
and
review
phase of
the
course.
